The Houma Downtown Development Corporation (HDDC) has undertaken a number of projects in Historic Downtown Houma.
Terrebonne Folklife Culture Center
In 2000, the Houma Downtown Development Corporation (HDDC) developed plans for the Terrebonne Folklife Culture Center and began renovating the building. In the midst of renovating, the HDDC decided to add a large multipurpose room to the rear. The Center opened to the public in the fall of 2003.
